Toward Creating Advanced Functional Nanocomposites
Our goal is to develop multifunctional polymer nanocomposites with high electrical conductivity, mechanical flexibility, and high flame-retardancy through the hybridization of carbon nanoparticles and inorganic materials in the polymer matrix. In addition to research aimed at creating new materials and uncovering structure-property relationships in advanced nanomaterials, we are mainly focused on energy harvesting systems, flame retardant materials, and flexible/stretchable thin films.
